Risa Reisman is a Registered Social Worker, who graduated from Carleton University in Ottawa with a Bachelor of Arts Honours in Psychology and a Minor in American Sign Language. She continued her education in New York City at Yeshiva University Wurzweiler School of Social Work and graduated with a Master of Social Work.
Risa’s career began in the motor vehicle accident industry conducting psycho-social assessments and individual therapy in the clients’ homes. She also has experience working with individuals who are Deaf, oral deaf, deafened and hard of hearing. She is now working with students at George Brown College, supporting them with a variety of life issues.
Working alongside Integrity Healthcare, her goal is to work together with patients from diverse backgrounds and create individualized treatment plans that will improve their quality of life.
